Fej nélkül — Sculptural Porcelain Pitcher

Fej nélkül is a handmade sculptural object in which the form of a vessel fuses with the figure of an animal. The body sits back on its haunches, raises one forelimb and dissolves into an open, irregularly torn spout — pitcher and creature become a single thing. The tail curves round in a gentle arc, serving as a handle, while the detached head rests alongside as a separate element of the composition, completing the scene.

The surface is finished in a pearlescent, iridescent glaze that shifts from cool white through silver to faintly rainbow reflections, gathering density along the tail and the central fissure. Light rearranges that pattern from every angle, so the piece never looks quite the same twice. The sculpture is handcrafted in a small studio — the modelling, the fractures and the way the glaze settles are unique to each example. The work is intended above all for display: it shows best on a plinth, shelf or console, with room to breathe around it.
