Csepp — Asymmetrical Ceramic Vase

Csepp is a handmade ceramic vase shaped like a slow-falling drop — narrow at the base, swelling into full, rounded shoulders. The rim is cut on a diagonal, breaking the symmetry of the body so that the silhouette shifts as you move around it: from one side a closed cocoon, from another an open vessel. The surface keeps the raw, sandy texture of the clay, with faint traces of tools and fingers still visible across it — the signature of true craftsmanship rather than factory production. Every piece is handcrafted in a small studio, which means slight variations in tone, texture and proportion are an inherent part of the object, never a flaw. The warm, creamy off-white sits beautifully against raw wood, concrete and linen, and works equally well in pared-back minimalist interiors and in warmer, more rustic spaces. The vase stands on its own as a sculptural object, and will just as gracefully hold dried grasses, olive branches or a single stem.
