Konstelláció — Ceramic Vase with Brass Detail

Konstelláció is a handmade vase with a full, calm body that draws into a short neck before opening into a wide, almost plate-like collar. The outer surface keeps the matte terracotta tone of raw clay, while the inside of the collar is finished in a pale, creamy glaze — a contrast that lifts the whole form and makes the piece read differently from above than it does at eye level.

Across the front runs a drawing in fine black line, anchored at three small golden points — a geometric mark tracing the belly of the vase like a constellation sketched by hand. Each element is fitted individually, so no two pieces carry exactly the same arrangement of lines. This is handcrafted work made in a small studio, which means subtle variations in tone and texture belong to the object rather than detract from it. The vase holds its own as a standalone piece on a sideboard or console, and frames dried grasses or a few bare branches with quiet elegance. The warm terracotta sits naturally alongside wood, linen and raw stone.
